At the prestigious Lauder Reut Jewish School, her love for the performing arts was nurtured through participation in the Bim Bam Choir. There she learned that harmony is not the absence of difference but the disciplined coordination of distinct voices toward a shared purpose.

As a child actor, she appeared in national commercials for Twix and Nesquik, developing an early fluency in presence, clarity, and the ability to distill a message for diverse publics, skills she now brings to committee rooms and community forums alike.

Her musical education deepened under Raluca Voicu in classical piano and, with remarkable rapidity, in classical guitar. After only eight weeks of study, she earned a Special Mention at Sinaia's International Classical Guitar Competition, a testament to focused discipline and the capacity to achieve excellence under constrained time.

Magdalinis was honored to be the youngest and first applicant selected from more than 700 applicants to serve alongside five fellow members on the Town of South Palm Beach Code of Ordinances Review Committee. Over the course of three years, she devoted considerable time to the careful study, interpretation, and review of thousands of pages of municipal code, contributing to a process grounded in thoughtful discussion, civic responsibility, and a commitment to sound governance.
Among the committee's more nuanced considerations was the preservation of existing provisions affecting several residential properties, including the ability to maintain solar panels and animals such as chickens where permitted under the existing code. Her position was principled: responsible governance should preserve lawful options for property owners rather than unnecessarily narrow them, and the committee's role was to review and clarify the code, not to anticipate or restrict how an owner might choose to exercise a lawful right in the future. This perspective helped preserve the existing protections, ensuring property owners retained the full enjoyment of their property consistent with municipal requirements.
She is especially grateful for the mentorship of former Town Manager Robert Kellogg, whose insight and encouragement deepened her understanding of municipal governance and whose passing is deeply felt, and she extends sincere appreciation to Town Manager Jamie Titcomb, who assumed a demanding role with exceptional grace and professionalism. She is equally grateful to Assistant Town Clerk Sandy Fine and Town Clerk Jude Davenport, whose diligence, meticulous preparation, and coordination of revisions were indispensable to a process spanning thousands of pages and countless hours of review.
Completing this three year commitment was an education in intellectual growth, collaboration, and the often unseen work required to strengthen a community. Few people would volunteer to spend years reading municipal code, but Magdalinis considers the experience both a privilege and a lasting lesson in the responsibilities of civic participation.

Her grandfather, in particular, taught her from an early age that success carries a responsibility to help others and leave a positive impact. That lesson became a foundational value that continues to guide her work today.
Her commitment to service began well before her professional career. Even as an elementary school student, Francesca found ways to support and encourage others, an early spark that would eventually develop into a lifelong passion for mentorship and community engagement. Her experiences as a teaching assistant further strengthened her belief in the power of education and in the difference that consistent guidance and encouragement can make in a young person's life. These early experiences shaped the way she approaches her work today: by meeting people where they are, recognizing their potential, and helping create the pathways and connections they need to succeed.

For more than a decade, Francesca served as a mentor at the Milagro Center in Delray Beach, working closely with two students and providing consistent guidance, encouragement, and academic support throughout their development. Her mentorship included helping one student transform his academic performance, ultimately raising his grades across all academic subjects to straight A's. For Francesca, mentorship has always been about more than academic achievement. It is about helping young people recognize their own potential, providing the encouragement and structure necessary to pursue it, and ensuring that circumstances do not define the opportunities available to them.
The arts have been another enduring focus of her community work. Francesca has worked with a variety of ballet organizations, teaching students and sharing her knowledge of ballet and the performing arts. She has also spoken with students across the country about the importance of preserving and sustaining the arts, emphasizing the role that creative expression, discipline, culture, and performance play in the development of young people and in the strength of communities.
A particular passion of Francesca's has been expanding access to the arts for students and communities that may not otherwise have the resources to support meaningful arts education. She has devoted her time to working with underserved students and supporting efforts that make ballet, performing arts, and creative education more accessible. Her belief is that access to the arts should not be determined by a family's financial circumstances or a community's resources, and she has consistently looked for ways to help create those opportunities where they might otherwise not exist.
In 2024, during a consequential period of transition, Francesca was called upon to assist The Church Mouse in Palm Beach, a nonprofit resale initiative of Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church whose proceeds support organizations throughout the community, with its reopening and redevelopment. As a longtime member and customer, she entered the effort with an established appreciation for its mission and community purpose. What distinguished her contribution was her ability to translate that familiarity into immediate and substantive operational leadership.
Francesca brought clarity and structure to a developing organization, rapidly assessing its operational needs and addressing the systems, financial considerations, technology, vendor relationships, and human resources essential to a successful reopening. She helped lead a team of seven and became an instrumental force in moving the organization from a challenging period of transition toward stability and effective execution. Her work reflected a distinctive combination of strategic judgment, operational fluency, fiscal stewardship, and a genuine commitment to strengthening organizations whose work serves the broader community.
Her contribution was subsequently recognized in the Palm Beach Daily News, with Francesca featured on the front page of The Shiny Sheet in connection with The Church Mouse's reopening and renewed presence in the community.
